The Brandon, S.D.-based manufacturer of custom fire trucks and other rescue vehicles will showcase four apparatus and offer departments a special, limited time promotion in Booth 1225 at the show, which is sponsored by the International Association of Fire Chiefs.

Departments can upgrade their apparatus from aluminum to stainless steel, including the subframe, for no extra charge. Crimson Fire is making a limited time offer available to departments on all Star series apparatus, including aerials. Stainless steel offers superior strength and durability over aluminum. The offer, which is subject to engineering approval, comes with a 20-year warranty on the body material.

Crimson Fire will also exhibit:

  • A First Response All Call™ concept vehicle that incorporates a broad spectrum of fire-fighting, emergency-rescue and command capabilities into a single, affordable vehicle.
  • A custom Star Series pumper. The Star is a high-quality, heavy-duty body style that consolidates the best features of previous models into a single product line. The Star features enhanced appearance and body construction, multiple “smart” features, lower hosebed and choice of chassis
  • A Legend™ Series pumper. The Legend is designed to provide quality-built vehicles at an affordable price point. The product line features a new body style and a modular design, allowing fire departments to choose from nine configurations to create a custom solution that meets their needs.
  • A custom mid-mount aerial platform. The mid-mount platform offers greater visibility, lower overall travel height, a large and technologically innovative bucket and enhanced storage capabilities. As with all of CFA’s aerial products, the new vehicle features the industry’s only “greaseless” ladder, patent-pending X-style outriggers and an exclusive roller assembly system.

“The theme for this year’s FRI is ‘Leadership for Tough Times,’ which is appropriate as departments across the country struggle with budgets that don’t match their needs,” said Crimson President Kevin Crump. “We recognize this and continue to work to develop apparatus, like the FRAC, that perform multiple functions and serve multiple needs.”
